Description
MAKSAN's portfolio includes medium-voltage power transformers from 3.15 MVA to 40 MVA, plus step-up units for generating plants and transformers with on-load automatic tap changers. Power windings use layer, helical or radially ducted coils; tanks and covers (except radiators and corrugated walls) are made in-house. Cores are grain-oriented silicon steel, conventional or high-permeability (HB) as required. The active part is dried in a solvent-vapour vacuum oven and oil-filled under vacuum below 0.1 mbar.
